We make it easy for restaurants to get their merch in front of the right audience and for foodies to discover gear from spots across the country.

The Inspiration
While living in Boston, our Founder, Matt Watson, fell madly in love with a ramen shop—Yume Wo Katare.
Naturally, when Yume did a limited-run merch campaign of hoodies, Matt was a happy customer. Years later, the sweatshirt remains one of his proudest possessions and a go-to wardrobe rotation.
Matt started the Knife Shift because he wanted to help food businesses share their products with the fans who will proudly wear or display their merch. That way, diners can stay connected even after the meal is over and they've left the restaurant.

Give the People What They Want
We also realized that Food Fans don't have nearly as many options to express their emotional connections with memories and stories surrounding food, unlike fans of music, sports, or film figures.
The Knife Shift is built to fill that gap. We're working to show restaurants that there's a demand for better merch and to assist them with customized solutions.
