The blade is made of UHC steel (Ultra High Carbon) and the handle is heat treated curly birch, coated with linseed oil – which ensures a firm grip even when wet. Comes with a handcrafted sheath of dark vegetable tanned Finnish leather.
The UHC steel gives you an extremely sharp knife that keeps its sharpness for a very long time – keep in mind that the hard UHC steel is not suitable for penetrating bones or other hard materials.
