We provide an online "food hall" where chefs, restaurants, and food businesses can share their merch with culinary enthusiasts.Our goal is to make it easy for food fans to snag restaurant merch from their go-to spots and discover new favorites, all while expressing their passions and supporting small businesses.Knife Shift also creates original apparel and decor that consist of design collections meant to celebrate culinary techniques and thoughtful food themes.

What is your return policy?

Knife Shift's vendors each have their own return policy, which is listed on their respective Collection and Product pages. Customers should review these policies before placing an order.Any items and associated shipping costs for products defective due to production and/or vendor error will be eligible for refund/replacement.Refunds are not available for customized or personalized products with no production errors.Please find our complete refund policy linked here. What are the expected shipping times?

Prior to shipment, your order should be processed and fulfilled within 2-4 business days. Shipping time depends on the items in your order and your location. Typical times are 2-5 business days, with certain items that require longer windows for print production needing 3-9 business days.Please refer to each vendor's storefront description and the product description for items of interest to review any vendor-specific shipping details they may have specified. How do I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. You may also use our customer support widget/chat window to check your order status.

What should I do if my order is damaged during shipping?

We are sorry you received a damaged item! We'll be happy to assist you within 30 days of purchase. The item must be unworn/unused. Please email us at customersupport@knifeshift.com with photos of the damage, the front of the item for identification, and, if applicable, the tag for sizing.

Can I change my shipping address or method after placing my order?

Our vendors process orders quickly for speedy delivery. After your order is shipped, we cannot modify the address or reroute the package. Please verify your shipping information carefully before placing your order.We may be able to assist with modifications on a case-by-case basis if your order has not yet shipped. Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we and our vendors only sell and ship merch products within the United States. We plan to expand the boundaries of our operations in the near future to allow for international shipping and to permit vendors outside the U.S. to sell with Knife Shift.

As culinary enthusiasts ourselves, one of our goals is to make thoughtful Merch for Fans of Food.We noticed that apparel and decor marketed to foodies at big box stores or on online markets is frequently based on puns and not very...tasteful.Our Knife Shift Originals—and any of our Vendor Collabs—are intended to create designs that celebrate culinary arts and food themes. Where do your designs come from?

Some of our products showcase historical artwork that is in the public domain and/or subject to an applicable Creative Commons license. We also work with independent designers to create collections highlighting food history, culinary concepts, agricultural practices, heirloom crop varietals, and compelling food themes.

How are your products made?

We work with top-of-industry print partners who we have vetted for reliability and high quality. Our partners have locations worldwide, so your orders are produced from a facility nearest to you for efficient delivery.

How do I know what size product to purchase?

We include sizing charts on each garment's product page for your consideration. Please look for a 'view size chart' link on these pages and consult the information to make your selection.

What materials do you use in your products?

Accepted Answer

We work to use fabrics and materials in our products that limit environmental impact. For example, we prioritize production with print partners who employ processes and dyes that are OEKO-TEX® and/or GREENGUARD certified, reducing environmental waste and water consumption.

What are the care instructions for your garments?

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water, mild detergent, and similar colors. Wash inside out to help maintain color and print. Avoid bleach, but you can use non-chlorine bleach if necessary. Don't use fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low or hang dry for longer life. Cool iron inside out, but don't iron directly on the print.
