Join the cooking revolution with this hand-forged egg spoon.

This egg spoon is made using a combination of traditional and modern blacksmithing tools and techniques. The top of the handle has a nice organic curl and the spoon is attached with two copper rivets.

The cooking spoon is pre-seasoned with oil just like a cast iron pan, all it needs is butter and an egg to get cooking.

I can attest from personal use that these little spoons make a mean fried egg.

The egg spoon handle is curved to match the dish so that it can be left flat on the counter while the egg cooks if you are cooking over a stove instead of an open fire.

The handle is 14" and the dish of the spoon is 4  ½" in diameter, for a total length of 18".

Wicks Forge cooking tools are finished in a similar method to seasoned cast iron cookware, and like cast iron pans, if used and cared for in the same manner will last generations. Hand Wash the piece after use (preferably without soap), and then coat with a thin layer of cooking oil after toweling them dry to prevent surface rust. Any surface rust that does form can be removed with a brillow pad, wire brush, or steel scouring pad. Once removed, reseal the piece with a thin layer of cooking oil.

What's the difference between "iron on" and "hook and loop" patches?

Iron on patches can be ironed onto fabrics by using an iron to melt the pre-applied glue on the back of the patch. The glue is solid and not sticky prior to heating, so there is no mess!

Hook and loop patches have a black "hook" fastener attached to the back of the patch. This material is compatible with all brands of hook and loop fasteners and also adheres to car ceilings, wool, and fleece. Our hook and loop patches also come with a free matching "loop" fastener which can be sewn onto garments if desired.

Note: Hook & Loop patches are also referred to as Morale Patches and Tactical Patches.

The Coupe Cereal Bowl is an everyday favorite shaped by the artists at Black Oak Art and crafted in our studio in Waco. It’s made with the same care that goes into all our custom ceramic bowls, with soft curves, comfortable proportions, and subtle personality that only wheel-thrown stoneware can offer.

It measures about 6.5 inches wide and slightly over 2.5 inches tall, meaning that it has the perfect amount of room for cereal while still being great for fruit, oatmeal, or smaller servings. The rounded coupe shape feels good in your hands, stacks neatly, and looks great on open shelving.

Our wholesale ceramic cereal bowls are ideal for restaurants and retail, but also a charming addition to any home’s dishware collection. It stands out on its own, but if you’re putting together a set, it pairs naturally with pieces like our folded ramen bowl, coupe serving bowl, or a folded-lip serving bowl.

And because every ceramic cereal bowl is thrown, trimmed, and glazed one at a time, no two pieces are completely identical. Their subtle differences in curve, glaze movement, or tone are beautiful variations that celebrate the process and make handcrafted pottery so fun to use. If you enjoy pieces with real personality and long-term durability, this custom cereal bowl is an easy favorite.

About the Artwork:

Herbert Bayer (1900-1985) was an Austrian-born American graphic designer, painter, and photographer. A pioneer of the Bauhaus movement, Bayer was known for his clean, geometric style and focus on functionality. During World War II, he lent his talents to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), creating impactful posters like "Our Allies Need Eggs" to mobilize American farmers.

In the foreground of the poster, a giant, white egg is featured. The egg contrasts sharply with the background scene of a burning cityscape. Flames lick at the buildings, casting a glow on the smoke-filled sky. The text "Our Allies Need Eggs. Your Farm Can Help" appears in bold lettering.

The poster encourages increased egg production by demonstrating the devastation faced by America's allies during World War II. It serves to highlight the essential role played by American agriculture in supporting the war effort and to call on farmers to be unwavering in their patriotism and contribute to those fighting for freedom overseas.
