About the Artwork:
Henry Koerner (1915-1991) was an Austrian-born American painter and graphic designer best known for his work during the mid-20th century. Koerner's artistic talents found a critical outlet during World War II when he was recruited by the U.S. Office of War Information. Posters like "Save Waste Fats for Explosives" were part of a nationwide campaign mobilizing everyday citizens to contribute to the war effort in unexpected ways.
This dramatic poster features a powerful visual metaphor. A woman's hand, illuminated from below, pours grease from a skillet directly into a fiery explosion. Shrapnel and bomb casings erupt from the center, symbolizing the transformative power of recycled fat. The stark black background intensifies the imagery. The text "Save Waste Fats for Explosives. Take Them to Your Meat Dealer" appears in bold white lettering at the top and bottom, delivering a clear call to action.

nice design, comfortable

I recently bought a small fruit still life t-shirt with the citron color. That picture/t-shirt color combo works well together and it looks the same in person as the picture. Would recommend

I love the shirt! And love that people look at it and scratch their heads a bit thinking about what it means.
The shirt fits true to size and the quality is great. I was a little worried that the large screen print would lead to a rigid shirt but it’s not all. It feels as though it’s a blank tee but has great designs, front and back. It’s been through the wash a few times so far with zero signs of wearing.
Very happy.

As a T-Shirt snob this T-Shirt is one of my best. Its design is spot on unique, its material is very nice and comfortable. And it fits. Looking forward to seeing more from this brand.

I love how unique this is! It looks great hanging in my kitchen.

As a fan of all things dance, I could not resist and I love my t-shirt! It is soft and a perfect fit. So far, it has held up in the wash. The company website made ordering easy and I was kept informed of delivery dates. I love the variety of products and expect to order something new in the future.

I have gotten SO MANY comments on this shirt. It’s a hit!

Great gift for my boyfriend
